3D Printing and Evolution

Evolution has led many species of living beings down many differing paths, givinganimals their own unique, colors, sizes, functions, and, what I focus on in my project, shapes unique to a species. I chose animals with varying shapes and sizes, like a penguin, turtle, snake, and dog, and made those shapes the main focus of the pieces. To understand the shapes of these animals, however, we need to go back through each of the animal’s timeline to get an idea of why they look the way they do now.To start things off, one of the more uniquely shaped animals out of the four previously mentioned is the turtle. This can be said because of its most prominent feature; its shell.
