Cameras are now one of the most common tools used today. You may notimmediately realize it, but every video, picture, and almost every advertisement you seeis the result of a camera and some post production. We ourselves use cameras almosteveryday, whether it be skyping with someone or snapchatting someone. Camerashave also played a huge role in documenting history, and without them, the world wouldbe very different.Cameras have been around for a very long time. In 1827, Joseph NicephoreNiepce made the first photographic image with a camera obscura. Niepce placed anengraving onto a metal plate coated in silver chloride, and then exposed it to light. Theshadowy areas of the engraving blocked light, but the whiter areas permitted light toreact with the chemicals on the plate.
