The objects that I have decided to 3D print are batarangs, from different forms of media. For those of you who do not know what a batarang is exactly, let me explain. A batarang is the signature weapon used by Batman, one of the greatest comic book heros of all time, and debatably the best hero from DC comics. The batarang has been seen in every form of media Batman has been portrayed in, and is globally known as Batman’s greatest weapon. Batman is one of the few heroes to be extremely successful in 4 of the major forms of modern media, graphic novels, cinema, videogames, and television. I decided to make batarangs to show the nostalgia each one gives, whether it be from the comics, games, movies, or show. Batman had his start in comics in 1939, created by legendary comic book writer,Bob Kane. For 77 years, he has been in the top 3 of sales for DC comics, and has the most separate, but simultaneous, current comic book series’ for DC comics. He was voted 2nd all time by IGN for greatest hero of all time. click here for full article...
